Marc Bowker is the founder of Alter Ego Comics and Live at The Lab. A lifelong pop culture fanatic, Marc has brought entertainment and fun to thousands of people in the Lima region and beyond. In addition to serving with Legacy Arts, Marc serves on the Allen County Small Business Owners Advocacy Board and is a member of the Meta Boost Leaders Network. He and his wife Angie are proud parents of three boys, born and raised in Lima.
Jennifer Brogee is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at the University of Northwestern Ohio and Chief Executive Officer of The Meeting Place on Market, which she founded with her family in 2003 in downtown Lima. Prior to her current position, Jennifer spent more than 20 years in software development and has been on the founding team of several startup companies, including as the CTO of myStaffingPro, a software company acquired by Paychex. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Anderson University and a Masters of Business Administration in Economic Development from Eastern University. She served on the board of directors for Downtown Lima, Inc. for many years, and currently is a founding board member of Legacy Arts, Inc. Jennifer lives with her husband, Kevin, and family in Lima. They are the parents of three adult children.
Born and raised in Lima, Angie has been a Special Education teacher in the Shawnee Schools since 2000. But she’s also the co-owner of Alter Ego Comics and Live at The Lab. She is passionate about education and enjoys connecting with her students over a good comic book or board game. Angie and her husband Marc have three children and are excited to be part of the continued business growth in Downtown Lima.
Matthew was born in Lima, Ohio and graduated high school from Lima Central Catholic. He attended the University of Dayton as an undergraduate, where he double majored in accounting and finance. After graduating from the University of Dayton, Matthew became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and worked as an Audit Associate with Deloitte & Touche. He then attended law school at the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
Matthew focuses his legal practice in the areas of corporate law and civil litigation. He advises clients on a broad range of business and transactional issues, including corporate governance matters and various contract issues. Throughout all areas of his practice, he uses his broad legal and financial background to resolve complicated issues in a practical manner.
Matthew and his wife, Paige (a Shawnee High School alum), and their children, Grace, Henry, and Archie, can typically be found enjoying one of Lima’s local parks or downtown establishments.
